Largest world fair in the sector has WEM’s participation

WEM Equipamentos Eletrônicos has been present, for more than one year, at MEDICA, the largest fair of medical equipment in the world, which brought together 4,554 exhibitors and took place between the 14th and 17th of November in Düsseldorf Trade Fair Center’s Exhibition Center, in the city of Düsseldorf, in Germany.

In its stand, within the Brazil pavilion of ABIMO, which brought together 50 Brazilian companies, WEM presented for the visitors of the fair, from approximately 64 countries, several pieces of equipment. Among them, electrosurgical units, exam chairs, forceps, and in the spotlight, the CVHP (Canady Vieira Hybrid Plasma) multifunctional pencil, for cutting and coagulation using argon gas, a technology which has already been tested and approved in the United States market, which raises the concept of electrosurgery to a whole new level.

MEDICA is a showcase for the European and global market, and WEM has traded with businessmen from Turkey, Nigeria, Iraq, Italy, Romania, Mongolia and Libya, among other countries. “Additionally, we have improved our networking, especially with our suppliers around the world, and we achieved a satisfactory commercial result, with good post-fair sale perspectives”, states Edson Vieira, commercial director of WEM, attending the event along with three other members of the team.

The event brought together professionals and companies which act in the area of health and medical equipments all over the world introducing innovations, news and releases. MEDICA 2012 has attracted around 130 thousand visitors, and also hosted conferences and forums with the latest trends in medicine.
