WEM Equipamentos, which today markets its products for over 70 countries, is reinforcing exportations to the African continent in 2012, after having accomplished several distribution partnerships this year. After the participation in the Arab Health Congress, which took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on January 23 to 26, event in which it is present since 2004, WEM concluded agreements still during the first semester with distributors from Sudan, Tunisia, Marroco, and Algeria.

These alliances include qualification of new commercial partners with the objective of preparing them to perform sales and technical assistance in a suitable manner in the newly acquired markets. An example of that was the visit of Biomedical Engineer, Basil Sharif, General Manager of Terma Medical, distributor of WEM’s products in Sudan, at the company’s headquarters in Ribeirão Preto, last May.

From May 16 to 18, he went through a complete training on the plant, given by Technician João Batista, and followed directly by WEM’s President, Wenceslau Vieira. In the event, Basil Sharif became aware of the details regarding manufacturing, operation and technical assistance of the main equipment produced by the company and that now, are being increasingly marketed in Sudan.

In addition to business reinforcement in Africa, WEM has also built new partnerships in 2012 in the Middle East, where it began to count on distributors from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, and Iran.
