A Positive Balance of WEM Participation in Gastrão

WEM Equipamentos Eletrônicos Ltda. participated between July 2 and 6 in one more edition of Gastrão - 39th Refresher Course on Digestive System Surgery, Coloproctology, Digestive System Organ Transplant and Endoscopy, at Centro de Convenções Rebouças, in São Paulo. The company received in its stand hundreds of visitors to this event that is the most traditional in the specialty, primarily health care professionals interested in innovations in equipment designed for digestive system surgeries.
“We received visitors from all over Latin America in Gastrão, which is an ideal meeting to strengthen relationships, prospect and close deals. We had a positive sale result with figures representing approximately 10% of our monthly turnover”, says Vilma Peixeiro, WEM’s business and marketing manager.
The company emphasized in its stand four products: the Microprocessed Electrosurgical Unit SS-601 MCa compatible with Integrated Operating Room; Microprocessed Electrosurgical Unit SS-501 SX; Argon plasma Coagulator Argon 4; and Electrosurgical System SS-200E + Argon 2.
Transmission of surgeries
Parallel to its participation in Gastrão, WEM sponsored the live transmission of surgeries to several countries during the 21st International Course on Therapeutic Endoscopy. The event had practical demonstration on procedures, with interaction between the participants and professionals from the sponsoring companies.
Dr. Eduardo G. Hourneaux de Moura, one of the course organizers, highlighted the actual significance of the longstanding partnership with WEM. “It is very important to have companies like WEM with us, because it is a serious brand, with high technology, genuinely national products, of quality similar to those products available in major centers abroad and recognized by the physicians performing the various procedures”, he concluded.
