In 2013, the line of chairs for medical examination of WEM Equipamentos Eletrônicos, from Ribeirão Preto, has consolidated some important differences related to the market. Due to a better movement of the mechanism, the chair is more comfortable for the elder, obese and handicap patients. The equipment moves through an automatic activation from 56 centimeters high (the lowest point) up to 1 meter high (the highest working position) making it easier for the patient to get in and out of the chair and also facilitating the performance of the professional and precision of the examination.
Due to these characteristics, WEM's chairs became a benchmark for important healthcare institutions, such as the gynecology area of Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo and UNIFESP, also in São Paulo, or for Basic Health Units of São José do Rio Preto City Hall (in the state of São Paulo). The company has been marketing around 35 examinations chairs per month and exporting units to South American and Asian countries.
The WEM's chairs are designed and manufactured with advanced technology that count on electric movements of the seat, back and leg rest, easily activated by the pedal and manual commands. They allow the conduction of hysteroscopy, ultrasonography exams and have a support for colposcope, articulated and sliding arm on the chest support, and a load capacity of 180 kg. The chairs are intended for specialties such as urology, gynecology, ultrasonography and dermatology.
The models manufactured by WEM are Unique G, indicated for ultrasonography and gynecological procedures, including hysteroscopy, providing more comfort and smooth movements, automatically activated by the pedal; Unique D, specially designed for plastic surgery and aesthetic procedures; Ellegance U, for gynecology and urology; and the gas stools Ellegance and Unique, which offer precise adjustment of positions.
