WEM is one of the winner companies of Exporta, São Paulo Award 2012

WEM Equipamentos Eletrônicos was one of the awarded companies on the fifth edition of the Exporta, São Paulo award, promoted by Associação Comercial de São Paulo [São Paulo Trade Association] (ACSP). The award ceremony took place on December 10th, in São Paulo, with the presence of important entrepreneurs from the state. WEM was awarded on the category Innovation.
After exporting performance analysis, using data from Departamento de Planejamento e Desenvolvimento do Comércio Exterior [Foreign Trade Planning and Development Department], Secretaria de Comércio Exterior [Foreign Trade Office], and Ministério do Desenvolvimento, Indústria e Comércio Exterior [Development, Industry and Foreign Trade Ministry] (DEPLA/SECEX/MDIC) from June 2011 to June 2012, Exporta, São Paulo awarded 24 companies from the state of São Paulo which presented consistent results in exportation.
WEM is a leader in the Brazilian electronic scalpel market and exports its products since the 90’s. Currently, the company sells its products to more than 70 countries from all continents, highlighting Latin America, the United States and Asia. “This is an important acknowledgment that puts WEM on the level of the great brands. The award was based on actual data and number of sales”, explains Marcos Fernando Rodrigues Vieira, WEM Industrial Director.
The Exporta, São Paulo Award is part of the activities set from the Exporta, São Paulo Project, maintained by FACESP – Federação das Associações Comerciais do Estado de São Paulo [Trade Association Federation of the State of São Paulo] – and São Paulo Chamber of Commerce, with the support of Conselho Brasileiro das Empresas Comerciais Importadoras e Exportadoras [Brazilian Council of Import and Export Trading Companies] – CECIEx.
