WEM Equipamentos Eletrônicos, based in Ribeirão Preto, has received Egyptian biomedical engineer Mohammed Hamdy for a technical and commercial training, during the first two weeks of October. Mohammed will represent WEM in Arabian countries, Northern Africa and also Middle East, where he will be able to consolidate the Company’s brand and open new markets.

Hiring this professional is part of the project called Brazilian Health Devices, promoted by Abimo [Brazilian Medical Devices Manufacturers Association] and Apex-Brasil [Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency], which is intended for sponsoring the health devices industry’s exports.

Mohammed has undergone an intense qualification, has better known Brazilian culture and the operation of WEM’s plant in Ribeirão Preto, in addition to all products manufactured by the company, where he learned, through theoretical and practical activities, the role of each one, the differentials and their applications.

The entire WEM’s product line will have, from now on, an important commercial boost in those countries, focusing on CVHP (Canady Vieira Hybrid Plasma) Griff pen.  “Taking part in this project enhances our position in that region of the planet and enables us to open new markets, while properly identifying each country’s potential”, explains Ricardo Araujo, WEM’s export manager.
