WEM participates in Commercial Mission in Peru

Between September 11 and 13, WEM Equipamentos Eletrônicos visited Lima, Peru. On that occasion, the manufacturer from Ribeirão Preto city took part in a commercial mission promoted by ABIMO – Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Artigos e Equipamentos Médicos, Odontológicos, Hospitalares e de Laboratórios [Brazilian Association for Medical, Dental, Hospital, and Laboratory Devices and Equipment Industry] during the seventh edition of Tecnosalud – International Convention for Health Products.
The company participated in several business roundtables with purchasers throughout the event. In addition, it attended lectures in which the situation of the health market in Peru was discussed, as well as perspectives for growth, possibilities for new investments, and the construction of more hospital units.
In its stand, WEM was visited by over 20 distributors interested in the company’s products. Tecnosalud is considered one of the most important fairs in Latin America for the health industry. “The presence of WEM in the Peruvian market and in its neighboring countries is significant, which shows the importance of our participation in this event”, explains Vilma Peixeiro, WEM business and marketing manager.
During the same period, WEM clinical engineer José Mário Conterato visited some private and public hospitals in Lima for a practical demonstration of the CVHP (Canady Vieira Hybrid Plasma) Griff pen. Like in other countries where it has already been shown, the product received unanimous approval from renowned surgeons that were present.
